Whale Pools is an owner-managed swimming pool company in Cape Town with more than 40 years' experience in pool construction and renovation.

All their gunite pools are custom-built (including plans and planning submission) allowing you, the client, complete freedom when it comes to the design.

Whale Pools uses a gunite rig in which a semi-dry sand and cement mixture is blown through an air hose over the reinforced steel body creating a one-piece structure with no expansion joints.

The Gunite structure is then hand-plastered with a smooth marble plaster to make the pool watertight.
